Eric Schroeder, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Eric Schroeder is one of our interventional cardiologists. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of science in biochemistry in 2000. He received his medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2004. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital program. He stayed on at the University of Miami to complete a fellowship in Cardiology and a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.

He has expertise in complex coronary interventions, peripheral arterial disease, and structural heart disease, including treatment of aortic valve stenosis. He sees patients for a full range of general cardiology and interventional procedures for the heart and peripheral arteries. He is a strong proponent of radial access and less invasive approaches to reduce the risk of vascular complications. He has been with the practice since 2011.

Dr. Schroeder has lived in South Florida since 2004. He lives near Baptist Hospital with his wife and 2 children.

Dr. Schroeder sees patients at our South Miami Medical Square Office and at our Doral office locations. He is currently accepting new patients and offers same-day or next-day availability for new referrals. He performs procedures at South Miami Hospital, Baptist Hospital, and vascular procedures at an outpatient vascular office in Doral.
