
Dr. Linda M. Koshy is a general and interventional cardiologist with special expertise in complex coronary artery disease and endovascular medicine. She is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, General Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Vascular Interpretation.
Dr. Koshy’s procedural skills include cardiac catheterization and coronary interventions via radial approach and management of arterial and venous vascular disease, including arterial atherectomy, balloon angioplasty and/or stenting, endovenous ablations, and deep vein procedures. In the office, Dr. Koshy manages the full-spectrum of cardiovascular diseases: from prevention to coronary artery disease and heart failure.
Dr. Koshy received her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine (Honors Program in Medicine). She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Duke University Hospital and completed her fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at New York University Langone Medical Center. She was practicing in a multi-specialty practice in New York City and the surrounding boroughs before returning to her home state.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Koshy has a strong interest in advancing women’s cardiovascular issues and advocating for women in cardiology. Her special interests include patient safety and quality measures, including research publications highlighting the superiority of radial access and methods to reduce radiation exposure in the cardiac cath lab.
